MATERIALS SCIENCE OF SEMICONDUCTOR SILICON Ten years activity of the International Training Institute for Materials Science (ITIMS) have created marvelous opportunities for ten years of Intensive and Thorough Investigations of Metals in Semiconductors (ITIMS). In a fruitful collaboration between the ITIMS Institute and the Van der Waals-Zeeman Institute of the University of Amsterdam (UvA) a research program on materials science aspects of metallic impurities in semiconductor silicon has been implemented.
