1.1. Call for abstracts / papers
second International Conference on Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology
(ICAMN2014) will be held from October 29th to November 1st, 2014 in Hanoi. Encouraged and sponsored by Vietnam National Foundation for Science and
Technology (NAFOSTED), the event will feature with broad topics, keynote and
invited speakers, covering the entire range of basic and applied aspects of
materials science and nanotechnology. ICAMN2014 will offer opportunities for
global scientists and Vietnamese materials research society to get together for
the purpose of learning and exchanging information about new research results,
ideas and finding new co-operations. Considering your research in related areas,
we cordially invite you to join the conference and submit papers to ICAMN2014.
Magnetism, topological insulators and superconductors: This will focus on
novel magnetism, high-Tc superconductors, topolocial insulators, spintronics,
magneto-optics, magnetic recording, hard and soft magnets, ferroelectrics,
piezoelectrics and multiferroics.
Advanced materials and functional devices: This session will address on
advanced functional materials for environmental monitoring and applications,
solution processing of nanostructured oxides, hybrid and materials with specific
functionalities and their assembly into functional components.
Micro- and nanotechnology and applications: This session will deal with the
processing, characterization and utilization of materials, devices, and systems
with dimensions on the order of nanometres, exhibiting novel and significantly
enhanced physical, chemical, and biological properties functions, phenomena, and
processes for environmental, biomedical, electronic and process, industrial
applications, current challenges in nanotechnology.
Photonics and semiconductor nanophysics: This session will offer an overview
and forum for nanophysics and photonic materials with enhanced and/or novel
functionalities for applications in electronics, photovoltaics,
photoelectrochemical, energy harvesting and storage devices and materials. The
topics will also cover light control, advanced materials for luminescence.
All ICAMN2014 submitted papers are peer-reviewed. The accepted papers will be
published in the printed conference proceedings with International Standard Book
